About Jawbone Marine Sanctuary
Access — entry & exit
Shore entry over rocky/boulder and beach areas within the sanctuary; Enter and exit at high tide where possible given the very shallow, tidal flats. Take care on slippery, uneven rocks. Shore access from Williamstown, about a 20-minute drive from Melbourne or a 20-minute walk from Williamstown Station (buses 471/472 from Newport Station). Boat launching is not from the sanctuary itself;
