Outer Harbour Shellfish Reef can be reached by boat from the Avalon Beach boat ramp or Geelong Grammar School Lagoon boat ramp on the northern side of Corio Bay, or the Geelong Limeburners Point boat ramp or Portarlington Point Richards boat ramp on the southern side of Corio Bay. Boat access only.
