About Sponge Garden Drift
Access — entry & exit
Boat entry and exit only. Divers are split into groups and given a ~50 m line with a buoy and dive flag, descend together spaced along the line, and drift parallel to the current before being picked up by the boat. Boat access only; Run as a drift so not suitable for shore diving. Operated in the Port Phillip drift-dive area, serviced by local dive operators out of Rye, Victoria.
Fishing
Allowed — Recreational fishing is permitted under Victorian bag and size limits.
